Sealed bids will be received for the City of Glenwood, Wastewater
Treatment Plant Expansion (0.110 MGD to 0.210 MGD),at the office of the Mayor
(162 NW 3rd Avenue, Glenwood, Georgia 30428), until 11:00
AM (Standard Time -
Daylight Savings Time),
Tuesday October 5th, 2010, at which time
they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Upgrade of the existing Glenwood WWTP from 0.110 MGD to to 0.210 MGD, including influent lift station; influent bar screen; conversion of existing oxidation pond into 3-cell aeration pond, settling cell, and storage pond; effluent structure with intake screen, effluent pumps, chlorine contact chamber, and cascade; retaining walls and grading; control building; + 4,075 LF of 6" force main; irrigation reservoir and irrigation pump station; yard piping; and all associated appurtenances necessary for a complete job.
This project will tie into the separate 0.100 MGD Land Application System project.
All work on the Project must be completed within 365 consecutive calendar days of date of notice to proceed.
